Includes an announcement of the first concert in early 1958,
which led to founding the club,
as well as an announcement of the opening of the Ash Grove itself in July.
1974-1995 - Concerts & Theater Productions
After it's closing, a period of concerts and
of theater production ensued,
lasting through 1995, at venues throughout the area.
This period will be documented and updated in the future.
1996-1997 - The Ash Grove at the Santa Monica Pier
An effort to establish
The Ash Grove on the Santa Monica Pier began in 1991.
The club opened in July of 1996 and lasted slightly less than one year.
A listing of many of the outstanding artists who performed there is provided,
as well as some artifacts and a brief analysis of the period.
1998 - 2000 - Ash Grove Music San Pedro Concert Series-
Starting in December 1998, the Ash Grove,
now a non-profit foundation named Ash Grove Music,
presented a monthly concert dance series in San Pedro.
Fliers for all these events are presented.
